Lawyers for Human Rights supports a statement issued by Amnesty International and Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights stating that human rights issues must be at the centre of any dialogue between the Government of Zimbabwe and the MDC.

Lawyers for Human Rights is running a crowdfunding campaign for stateless children.

Some vulnerable children are required to do DNA tests to get birth certificates, but it costs R1400 - R2100.

Abandoned & orphaned stateless children are required to pay R1350 to apply for a visa allowing them to go to school.
